- Administer psychological evaluations consisting of intellectual/cognitive functioning, emotional functioning, psycho education testing, early childhood assessments, differential diagnosis assessments, parenting capacity assessments, and assessments of Pervasive Developmental Disorders.

- Long term and short term psychotherapy utilizing an integrative approach that is primarily a narrative orientation with CBT, psychoanalysis, and skills training.

- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, involving consultation and leading monthly case presentations.

- Provided full psychosocial and neurological assessments for children with learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and developmental delays.
- Served mostly Latino and African American clients of low socioeconomic status.
- Conveyed testing results to the student and family.
- Contacted the schools to follow up with the recommendations noted in the report.

- Assessed HIV positive adults for suitability in the Chicago House Program by completing diagnostic interviews, a neurological exam, objective, and projective assessments.
- Provided feedback to the client and his or her caseworker to identify the most useful programs available to the client.
- Worked with the client’s caseworker to develop the best suitable intervention strategies.
- Presented case material in group supervision on a bi-weekly basis.

- Assessed kindergarten through eighth grade students, mostly of mid to high socioeconomic status, by completing multiple projective, objective, neuropsychological and cognitive assessments.
- Met and communicated with parents, teachers, and aides to review results of the batteries and determined if the student qualifies for special services, an IEP, a 504 Plan, or needed a behavioral program.
- Provided therapeutic services including play and cognitive behavioral therapies to a student dealing with attachment issues.
- Actively participated by providing input about student’s whom I observed or assessed in weekly meetings with the school’s multidisciplinary team which consists of the principal, director of student services, school counselor, resource teachers, speech and language therapist, and school psychologist.

- Provided direct therapeutic services: individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and family counseling.
- Assessed the current level of functioning and needs of each client.
- Maintained records on each student, including: student’s IEP and providing specific IEP goals, behavior management plan, evaluation procedures, and weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinated development of IEP’s with the teachers by communicating with them on a weekly basis, assessing if the student’s IEP goals were being met and what adjustments were necessary.

Director, April 2008 – Present
- Created and implemented a parent/coach program to lower performance anxiety to optimal levels, create a pro social environment, and overall enhance development for athletes in grades 5th through 8th.
- Developed a needs assessment, program manual, brochures, website, and budget all which reflect empirical based research.
- Lead presentations and discussion groups to facilitate the program.
- Consult with private athletic organizations and park districts.
- Write behavioral observations on coaches identified needing assistance.
