Andrew Rosenbloom
Andrew Rosenbloom is a doctoral student at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology (ISPP). He received a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from ISPP and is working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. Andrew has been working with children and adolescents for over 9 years.Andrew has worked at the Highland Park Park District as a travel basketball coach, Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, and the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School at the University of Chicago. He has also assisted in teaching numerous child and adolescent development courses at ISPP. Andrew has trained at Connection's Day School, Bannockburn School in Bannockburn, IL, the Austin Family Counseling Center, and Psychological Consultations in Chicago.
Andrew began his coaching career 9 years ago. In that time time he has coached 4th grade boys, 5th grade boys and girls, and 6th grade boys and girls. He's also an AAU coach, provides private lessons, and is a mentor for many of his former players. He also trains and supervises other travel coaches. Andrew's love and devotion of coaching has led to the success of many of his players on and off the court.
Andrew is passionate about working with children and adolescents. He is equipped to provide kids with the emotional guidance they need and helps them pursue their dreams and goals.
It is common for children and adolescents to experience anxiety. As we all know, growing up is difficult. Trying to fit in socially, academically, and at home can be a constant battle. Andrew created P.L.A.Y. to keep the anxiety levels among children and adolescents at the level necessary for them to reach their goals and be the best they can.
