About Andrew
"Andrew taught our son life-values: sportsmanship, teamwork, self-sacrifice, and commitment, all of which will last into adulthood."

"Andrew has an extremely positive attitude that encourages the kids to work together as a true team. They learned to believe in each other, trust each other and act selflessly. Their confidence as a team developed throughout the season to a point where they believed they could beat anyone. All this was especially true for Jonathan who, as the point guard, had the responsibility to implement the coach's strategies during game time."

"Andrew was our son Nathan's travel basketball coach for his 6th grade AAU and Feeder teams. Andrew was more than just a coach to Nate. He provided encouragement, guidance and most of all counseling during Nate's ups and downs during the season. From a parent's perspective, Andrew provided excellent communication to us about the team, scheduling and other matters. Further, he exhibited great diplomacy in dealing with various issues which arose during the season. We look forward to Andrew coaching Nate or his younger brothers in the coming years."

"Andrew Rosenbloom was our son's basketball coach when Ross played for the 6th grade Park District travel team. Ross and his teammates thrived as individuals and a team under Andrew's leadership. Ross was encouraged to work hard and persevere. He also learned that he needed to have a strong work ethic to become a better player. Andrew taught Ross the importance of teamwork. Ross and his teammates bonded in a way that lead them to play better as a team than they ever had played before. Andrew helped facilitate their success by coaching in a way that kept them focused and not anxious even under stressful circumstances. Andrew consistently exhibited an even temperament and by example demonstrated good sportsmanship to the boys. All these positive benefits and the boys still had fun. In the several years since Andrew was Ross's coach, Ross has maintained a positive relationship with Andrew."

"During the 2007-08 school year, Andrew was our son's travel basketball coach. As it relates purely to basketball, the experience was outstanding for us as parents since the team advanced to the championship game of their league. Our feeling is that absent Andrew's coaching style, this likely would not have happened. Relative to his training program and coaching style, he successfully balanced a grueling schedule of 57 total games with the varying needs of his 10 players. He also successfully fostered open communication and provided feedback with each individual player and their parents. All of this contributed to the players' growth not only as athletes but also as individuals. Andrew was a great role model and he successfully imparted the "team" concept to our son in particular as he stressed the values of respect, communication and hard work."
